How many Catalytic Converters does the 2006 Nissan Pathfinder have?
I have the P0430 code (Catalyst Below Threshold Bank 2).
I applied for financial assistance a few months ago. The state covered $500 of the repair. The repairs was the Catalytic Converter Bank 2 & EVAP canister.
The P0430 returned a few days after the repairs. At first they said it was the Oxygen Sensor, now they are saying its another Catalytic Converter.
I have the bad luck of buying bad vehicles.
I wish CARB would allow aftermarkets again.
Here's another thing, the Smog Repair place broke the bolts & used wires to tighten the catalytic converter. They didn't tell me this, until I found out from another mechanic (different place where I wanted a second opinion).

who is THEY? take it to dealer if u cant find garage who can DIAGNOSE and fix

there are only 2 heated catalytic convertors on your truck, they do have 2 secondary flow through pipes, so techinally someone could answer that it has 4 but only 2 are actually cats that have heated O2 sensors and would cause check engine light issues.
