Ladies: Question for those who ve given up dairy?

I have given up dairy after consuming it for the entire 40 years of my life. I ve been off it about three weeks now, and I ve noticed that I m spotting between periods. I ve done that for a couple days out of the last few months, but now it s a bit worse since I gave up dairy. I m not on any birth control at the moment and have not been for a while. I m thinking my hormones are all out of whack since I ve given up dairy, because until now, I ve never been without it. Anyone else experienced this after quitting dairy?

  • It sounds like your body is detoxing and trying to balance your own hormones from the withdraw of all the hormones in dairy. It has the nutritional content to raise a calf to a cow,it is no good for humans even if organic like the other answers trying to say.

Also keep in mind any drastic changes to diet can effect menstruation.Which is why some women's periods change when they start to eat healthier, etc.

No but maybe it might be a good thing.

Unless you drink organic milk, regular milk is packed with fake hormones. Those can mess with our systems.
