What was America's role internationally during the 1920s (WWI)?

    The US was more or less isolationist during the 20's (except for interference in Central America).

    Since I was born in l929, I don't really know. But I DO remember as a little kid hearing my folks and their friends talk about WWI, and they'll NEVER enter into another foreign war!

    US was the leading overseas lender and the leading overseas investor globally throughout the 1920s.

    The US was thus largely responsible for the global economic boom of the 1920s.
