    North Carolina, and any part of the south for that matter, is well known for private colleges. Private schools have extremely high acceptance rates while providing amazing educational opportunities. In fact most private colleges provide better education than state schools including higher test scores, better student satisfactory, and higher graduate school acceptance rates.

    That being said I recommend you look into private schools. Remember you can always transfer if need be.

    how are your SAT/ACT scores and extra curriculum? if both are amazing and you have an amazing personal essay, then you might be able to get into the college you want!
