Couldn't an alien species pretend to be Jesus and take people away? Would it be the perfect cover story?

Yes they could. Aliens could learn about our culture through TV and the radio, then they could decide to impersonate Jesus. They could create a holographic Jesus. They could make it look like it's the rapture when they teleport people into their space craft or pull people up using their tractor beams. That would make an excellent cover story, though I don't know what would motivate aliens to take people away.

And Satan is the great deceiver. He could come as Jesus. And since the Messiah is to be born of 2 human parents and is to bring peace to all the world, plus rebuild the Jewish temple, then Jesus is not the Messiah. The Messiah's name will be Immanuel. He doesn't die to return later.

Oh jeez. Aliens scare the crap out of me. That would be a very good cover story. Maybe the aliens would see most humans are gullible sheep.
