Strands of Starlight series. It's five books long and it's amazing. I'm a woman and the books are basically about the power of women and how women can make as much difference in the world as men. They're pagan books about Goddess worship but the plots are amazing. Despite all the hardship the main characters tend to go through, they always pull through thanks to the love and faith of their friends. It's a series about female empowerment and the power of love and friendship. It also tries to teach people to love someone no matter what their race/sexual orientation/gender/religion is as well. It's an amazing series with a lot of profound thoughts. Most fantasy series nowadays are just magic and fighting with very little meaning to them.

Literally the only book series I've read is Twilight. The rest of the books I own like Catch-22, Atonement, Wuthering Heights- they are all basically classics. So I guess Twilight oh Lord.
