College in the US?

So, a bit of info.

I m an international student, and recently decided to switch to a US college. I m registered for the SAT on May 2, and my mock tests so far have been outstanding.

Now, my question is: suppose I get my 2300 SAT score, what then? As far as I know deadlines for September have long since expired. If it helps, I m trying for Biology.

We need to get our terminology straight.

In the U.S., "college" means the same thing as university. It takes four years to get a bachelor's degree.

I'm also not sure what you mean by you want to "switch" to a U.S. college. Are you currently attending university and want to transfer? If so the SAT might not be necessary.

There are no standard application practices amongst U.S. universities. On each university's web page, you will find instructions for freshmen international applicants.

If you want to go to a U.S. university, beginning freshman (first) year, then you will likely need SAT or ACT scores, your secondary school transcripts, sent directly from your school to the college with an English translation (if necessary) and an explanation of grading criteria, a TOEFL score if your secondary school was not taught in English, an application with any required essays, and letters of recommendation from a teacher and school administrator. Some schools require two SAT 2 subject tests as well as the regular SAT, but if you have A-levels or IB certificates you may be able to substitute.

You may also need to show proof that you are able to afford four years of university. Many U.S. universities do not provide any financial aid to international students.

U.S. universities are extremely expensive compared to most other countries.

YOu may find a college that will take you this late but it will not be one that someone with a 2300 SAT score might want to attend.
