He doesn't want me to lose weight?
I told my boyfriend that I wanted to lose some weight because I need to. I want to be healthy and I am about 50 pounds overweight. He responded " But then you will become extremely attractive and leave me.", Like I am not sure if I should be insulted by what he said or what. Was that an insult to me or an insult to himself?

I would be insulted (since me and my bf have been going out for 1 year and you'd think that he'd get the idea that I don't want to leave him). But maybe he's just insecure and need reassurance. Tell him it's for health benefits, because you want to make yourself healthy, and that's important to you. Tell him how you feel about it.
I'm glad youre taking action for your health, but he really needs to understand if he loves you. Okay, dont say if he loves you, say, if he cares enough for you not to get any health issues
