    Getting old is related to a number - counting the years of ones life. And the number indicates getting older. It is a measurement. Aging is a process of what happens to the body as one gets older. Some people age faster than others, depending on their health and genetics and lifestyle. We all get older at the same rate.

    Aging is what you look like. Getting old is the number of years.

    If you smoked your whole life or went to the tanning bed.. you could age a lot... you could look 60 when you're really 35.
