If your "evidence" for this is the lack of God intervening then you don't understand God at all. God does not intervene in our affairs today. God speaks to us today through the Bible. What can the Bible do for you?

It can save our eternal soul! That is pretty important right? If you believe that Jesus Christ died on a cross, was buried, and then rose again 3 days later then you will be live forever in heaven.
