Did God create atheists because he wanted some intelligent conversation or was he just fed-up with all the "Yes" men?

It makes more sense than any other explanation for how God and atheists could both exist.

Think of a parent of young children. They're find and they really love their children. They would never torture them for making a mistake because the parents know that there is much for them to learn. But parents can't spend ALL their time with little ones who have no cognitive thinking skills yet. They'd go crazy.

I think that if there were a God, he would want intelligent people like me to explore and probe reality and to come back and share what I learned so that we could talk about intelligent things and probe the potentials for new areas of exploration

God didn't create atheists just like he didn't create the Devil. These were all personal choices made to turn backs on God.

    It's an interesting hypothesis.

Of course, I don't believe God created anything but if he did, he at least allowed for the possibility of doubters.

So that's why atheists can't agree with each other. Brilliant assertion from a brilliant atheist mind no doubt.
