Let's party? Should 20,000 world cities be nuked at the same time to save the planet? Yes or No?

    I doubt the simultaneous detonation of 20,000 nuclear warheads would save much of the earth.

    In fact, the current nuclear stockpile in the US is only 4,760 devices....so, I'm not sure this is even feasible. Since we phased out the last MIRV in 2014, you'll have to settle for nuking less than 5,000 cities.

    The carbon emissions of the combustion of these cities would likely be ecologically disastrous. (see "Nuclear Winter")
