Turn a hotplate onto high and try to light it off that (or better still, light a piece of paper off the hotplate and light your cancer stick off the paper. That way you're less likely to burn your face).

Simple answer to your question is,the toaster will work if you turn it up to its highest timp let it get red hot and you light it on the red hot heating coils
