I call myself independent, but actually I'm registered with the Green Party, because they needed a certain number of registered voters to get on the ballot.

Both our major parties are totally corrupt. The problem is not with one or the other, it's a systemic problem caused by allowing money to run our politics. I think this is actually a bigger problem than any differences between the parties!

I am a liberal because I believe ultimately people are more important than money. Don't get me wrong--money is important, but it's not the ONLY important thing.

I usually end up voting Democratic because I see them as closer to my way of thinking. But Obama and Clinton are certainly not liberal, let alone the liberal extremists the Republicans like to paint them.

I also would like to see the national debt reigned in. I'd like to see a balanced budget, and tax cuts for the middle class. To me, that's another reason to vote Democratic. The Republicans talk about fiscal responsibility endlessly, but they don't walk the walk! The Dems deliver on those promises!

Democrat. I have a functioning brain. Seriously, because all I see republican politicians doing are things that benefit the wealthy and no one else. Democrats aim to help a larger portion of the population.

And every time Steve King, Louis Gohmert, Michele Bachman, etc open their mouths, I just cringe. I can't understand why conservatives elect such stupid people. Finally, far too many republicans want to govern with the bible. That is unconstitutional.

Republican. I realized in 1984 I was 100% one at 10 years old when I heard Walter Mondale at a campaign convention in Minnesota said "I want to raise taxes!" and everyone was clapping. Meanwhile our economy was booming.

While there are issued with my party, we need to embrace conservatism more then ever. The reach across the aisle middle road types like McCain has failed us.

I have voted for Democrats, including John Kerry. Probably will be the last time too. When the Dems stop going full blown liberal and actually want to work with Republicans then I'll listen.

Republican. I've decided to switch from independent because not only are the democrats ruining the country but the GOP often makes more sense every day.

I'm a libertarian more than anything but you don't see any democrats break from their party. The GOP is the more politically diverse party. Whether that's a good or bad thing I'm on their side more than I used to be.

I'm an independent but I'm also a conservative. I vote and support what I believe to be right without subscribing to either party. I generally favor Republicans though, simply because their beliefs usually align with my own, not the other way around, on most issues.

I used to be a Republican. I found out they believe only what they want to believe. They don't use science, facts or logic. I switched to Democrat.

Republican/Conservative. Believe in really small government. Only doing what the Constitution

outlines the Feds to do. Independence. Freedom to be creative and build my own self worth.

Rather than have some low life liberal tell me what that self worth is going to be.

I'm a Conservative Notwithstanding. I have traditional views and values, although I don't believe that those views and values are necessarily being represented by the Republican Party.

I'm a born again Christian for over twenty years and bible college educated, well versed in the teachings of Christ, and I therefore I have no choice but to vote Democrat, as I find they stick up for the least of these, as Christ taught us.

    No,

I'm not a Republican or a Democrat- because

The warm welcome these popular kids show us leftists has tended to make us run from the room.
