Possible allergies?

Ok so I've never had allergies or something similar to them except for once when I was like 7. Anyways this Friday I got a bunch of cottage cheese bumps all over my arms,back,stomach, and thighs. My hands feel somewhat swollen and so do my feet. I've tAken regular over the counter medicine but it seems to calm it down but not really make it go away. It's been 3 days and nothing has really gone away completely. The medicine keeps it away but it randomly comes back. Any ideas?
