Do you love Jesus enough to still be a Christian even if there were no heaven? Or if Jesus said he didn't answer prayers?
@Ruth - My dear. This is a simple question of love and you cannot and will not answer it? You either love Jesus unconditionally, or you don't. This isn't a "gotcha" question, this is a test of your faith. You cannot even answer it? What would Jesus think? You love him, but only with conditions applied?
I'm actually kind of stunned that Christians are not answering the question. They can't even say "yes"? It's a simple three letter word and they can't type it. Why not? This is not a blasphemous question.

I would definitely still trust in and walk with Jesus. I have His presence in me, His strength, His peace, His comfort, His blessings, His power. I get to experience all those things right now- everyday! Heaven is just the iccing on the cake:)
And because He is able to make a difference in my life here, in a world of sin and heartbreak, I have no reason to doubt His promise of Heaven. He is trustworthy and He proves it to me everyday:)

What you don't understand is that Kingdom of God is already in you , when you are full of love and compassion for your brother you're already experiencing heaven inside of you. Heaven is the logical connection of your soul to God after your physical death. Heaven is where God's belong , Jesus is God so your sentence have no sense at all :)

Sure I would still be kind and loving to others because the Holy Spirit has made me a new person. I don't think I would want to go back to being the old me. My purpose is to please God in everything I do because I love him whether I will go to heaven or not.

But there is a heaven. Did you know, Jesus doesn't answer prayers? We pray to Jehovah God, and end in Jesus' name. It is God that answers prayers.

No, not at all. If there's no heaven then Jesus can go piss off.

Irrelevant question.....because that is not going to happen
but if all I got out of my relationship with Jesus was what I have gotten so far in my life from Him....peace, joy, contentment fulfillment, it would be enough - if I ceased to be tomorrow, it would be enough

If christians were open minded enough to consider rhetorical questions like that, they wouldn't be a christian
