Male Horse riders? Female Opinion?
I'm a male in the UK and boys who ride seem to be very few and far between. What is a female opinion on a straight guy that rides?

Because you're 13 and have only been riding for a handful of years and you've just gotten lucky with the scenarios and horses you've ridden. This is more of a pathetic brag than a question... Now if you said you were 60 years old and have been riding for 50 years and never have fallen off a horse, I'd be pretty impressed. But I don't think that's happened, all riders no matter how good, have fallen off.. actually the better they are the more they've fallen off, they're more experienced and have ridden a variety of difficult and hard to handle horses, they got throw off but got back up and did it again and again.
You'll fall off your horse if you continue riding a lot, don't be cocky and think you'll never fall because those are the people who get knocked on their butt the hardest. You will, you just have to hope the fall doesn't injure you, people who have fallen off a lot seem to make their fall almost as graceful as their riding with no injury

Well you live in the UK... And riding horses has always been a sport for the wealthy there.
We can't get a lot of boys to ride English here.... But were its available and popular those who can rodeo or so ranch work. It's meaningful and a use of skill. We are still a nation of doers.... And doing counts

Growing up, going through 4-H and open shows there were very few guys that rode, and even less straight guys.
Then, when I started showing at breed shows as an adult, there were as many guys as gals, and most of them are straight.
No idea where they were growing up. I think it would be great to have that much in common with a partner.
I now compete in dog agility, and while my husband loves our dogs, it would be great if he understood the sport better and was even more supportive.

I think it's really cool! I know a ton of straight guys who ride, but they all play polo. I only know of five straight guys who show in hunter/jumping/eq classes, but I think it's really cool when I meet them. I just find that the majority of guys in the horse world are really attractive, hard working, and are just 100x more attractive because they love horses :)

I live in California and a lot of guys ride, but cowboy style.
Back when I lived in NY, very few guys rode.
But I'll tell you what, you'll be surrounded by the ladies. Seriously, next time a guy says something about it to you, respond with "I spend the day hot rich ladies, while you grope a bunch of dudes."

- I thinks boys who ride are instantly more attractive, but maybe that's because I also ride. There's something very appealing about someone who can control a horse from up on it's back..

We love our male friends along on rides and to share our interest in the sport.
