Does anybody have a problem with the fact that the prosecutor has taken money from the Freddie Gray's family?

She also said "I heard your call" to the public. This is not the rhetoric I expect from a qualified prosecutor who believes in "innocent until proven guilty". This woman sounds completely unqualified to bring justice.

The same "prosecutor" took money from the Fraternal Order of Police who contributed far more to her campaign than Gray's family did. Would you be complaining about a conflict of interest if she had chosen not to indict anyone. Incidentally, an indictment does not obviate the need to prove guilt. Obviously the police arrest and charge people who have a right to be assumed innocent. These officers are being treated exactly like a regular citizen which is as it should be.

I care. It's the Gray's attorney though. Not the family. Whom also served on her transition team. BUT, she'll probably end up running for Maryland Governor. I smell exploitation of the situation for political gain. Notice the cheers? Notice the riots began in her husband's city district?

You don't understand the meaning of the word "prosecutor". By the time an event gets to a "prosecutor", that means that the DA has already determined that there is reasonable cause to prosecute.

the prosecutor isn't about "innocent until proven guilty" -- it is her job to make the case that they are guilty.

i suspect she's going to lose the case. problems with the evidence -- it doesn't support her theory of how it happened.

i do have a problem with her relationship with the family and the family's attorney -- but that's for the judge and bar association to slap her down, not I

Sounds like some definite conflict issues. A special prosecutor should be appointed.

it would have been better for her to just state the facts and leave the editorializing to someone else.

She almost made it sound like the decision to charge the six cops was not based on evidence but a move intended to placate the angry mob.

Prove that or take the lie back. You people are sick inside with hate for poor blacks. Why are you so jealous of these people?
