Can I lose weight like this?
Okay first of all stats: Female, 15/16, 185lbs, 5'3"
Goal weight: 120lbs
I don't care how long it takes, I want to do this steadily without rushing as I want to be able to keep the weight off. Now, today I began working out through YouTube videos. So far I have done 30 minutes and I'm planning on doing another 30 minutes later tonight.
If I did this every single day, consuming about 1600-2000 calories a day. How much weight would I lose in say, a month?
((Oh and the workouts I did were 2 Tiffany Rothe videos and another 10 minute cardio workout. All in a row. The one I'm yet to do later this is the 'Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred: Level 1'. I plan to do all of these everyday, if I do take breaks it will only be for one day. I have done 6 days a week workouts before, I just failed to stay motivated so I'm hoping this time I'll be able to stay on track.))

Try eating about 1400-1600 healthy calories and maintaining that routine for a month.. also speed up your metabolism is a really good quick fix.. you will shed weight in a fast and healthy way..
Tip: Your diet needs to pump iron
Iron-rich foods are essential for carrying the oxygen your muscles need to burn fat, says Lakatos. Until menopause, women lose iron each month through menstruation. Unless you restock your stores, you run the risk of low energy and a sagging metabolism. Shellfish, lean meats, beans, fortified cereals, and spinach are excellent sources or iron.
Tip: You’re missing vitamin D
Vitamin D is essential for preserving metabolism-revving muscle tissue. Unfortunately, researchers estimate that a measly 4% of Americans over age 50 take in enough through their diet. Get 90% of your recommended daily value (400 IU) in a 3.5-ounce serving of salmon. Other good sources: tuna, shrimp, tofu, fortified milk and cereal, and eggs.
Tip: You’re not getting enough dairy
“There’s some evidence that calcium deficiency, which is common in many women, may slow metabolism,” says Lakatos. Research shows that consuming calcium through dairy foods such as fat-free milk and low-fat yogurt may also reduce fat absorption from other foods.
