was it ok of me to refuse to talk to allegedly stranded person who needed help when i was walking home at 2Am?

So im walking home at 2AM form a friends house only 7 blocks and the street is completely empty of people and cars but this woman on the opositee side of the street started shouting that she was stranded me being alone with no one around i just yelled get f*ck back! and just walked away checking to make sure i was not being followed. but ive been wondering today should i have listened to her thing? would it have been risky to do that since people of all kinds can be harmful?

    HEY!

First of all get INFORMED and then you can use those words toward people ok?

Second of all, Well.. yeah get informed, Pick up details, if shes alone,if she isnt,if she needs help, how old does she look, does she look friendly, DOES SHE NEED HELP.

If so, then ask her whats wrong, if you sense some danger then simply flee.

What im trying to get to is, how would you feel if you were alone at 2AM and you need help and someone passes by and says F**K OFF without even asking whats wrong, how would you feel?

And to respond to your question,

No it wasn't ok to talk to her like that and leave.

So next time ASK first what's wrong, then after that you can decide for your self.
