Can anyone tell me what this sound effect is called?
I m looking for a specific sound effect for a film my class is doing. We hear it all the time but I can t find it anywhere.
The best example I can find is in the following video. It s between 2:13-2:14 after the guy gets shot:

A shriek or shrill cry. It is not a Banshee cry if that is what you were thinking.
