Who should be boxing's new hero and new villain?

Let's face it, Pacquiao is this generations best boxing hero. Humble, soft-spoken, and a typical-rags-to-riches story. Opposing him is this generations best Villain, Mayweather. Flamboyant trash-talker who seem to be all about the money. But I believe its time to end the Mayweather Pacquiao era. If the sport is gonna survive it needs a new hero and villain to follow.

So who should it be?

Criteria for a good hero.

1. Must have crowd pleasing style

2. Must be reasonably good-looking (come on guys, this is why dela hoya became so popular)

3. Must have a classy demeanor

4. A lil cinderella background story can help

Criteria for good villain.

1. Must have a crowd pleasing style also

2. Must be dangerous in the ring

3. Must be more intimidating than irritating. (Mike tyson anyone?)

My picks

Hero

Andre Ward

Canelo Alvarez

Villain (Potentially at least)

Golovkin

Stevenson

Lol No. There's no second coming of that. Pac became a national treasure in the Philippines simply because he's a fighter with a deadly left straight that when it connects, the crowd knew someone's going down. Whereas to Floyd, you cant blame him. He has played the good boy role too but it seems nothing's going his way. Floyd is never really a bad ***. I remember he donated a big amount somewhere someplace (I cant remember Lol) What I see on Floyd is he's an illiterate guy and a midget by US standard, add the fact that he's black. If you studied psychology, you'd surely understand why his character is like that. It's his defense to those who would bully him.

Who should be boxing's new hero and new villain?

    Cant think of any

I disagree with Golovkin being a villain because most fans love him. Stevenson is a great villain choice for the immediate future but i'm not sure how much longer he will last, he seems to be in decline and Beterbiev is no joke!

I can't think of who will be a hero, probably someone we don't yet know of but Canelo is a good shout for now, a lot of people think he was a saviour with his performance vs Kirkland

There s only one villain that I could think of if he could live up to the billing and that is Broner while there s a lot who could assume the role of hero, Golovkin is one of them and so does Crawford. One of these days, we will see one of these two on top of the world as a torch bearer. I won t discount Loma and Canelo too but it would be a longer journey for both unlike the first two who were right at the doors step of stardom.

GGG is too humble outside the ring to be a villian.
