If you believe in reincarnation, should suffering emotionally affect us, since it will go away in the next life?

This is an issue thats plagued me the past month. As someone who wants to believe in reincarnation, I don t understand how one can be upset about suffering if we re going to go to another life anyway where it doesn t happen.

Take this situation- a child loses their mother at a young age. They re distraught.

Me, as an empathetic person, would feel upset with them.

But when I put the idea of reincarnation into the ordeal, I feel nothing. Why should I care if it won t bother them in the next life?

I hate this mindset.

If you believe in reincarnation, how do you deal with suffering? Are you able to feel emotional about it? What type of mindset do you use for situations like this?

Reincarnation does not occur. Place your thoughts into more useful matters and for others instead of believing for yourself, that nonsense is sickening your mind!

That would be acceptance when mind body and soul are in balance we feel true empathy as one with all life . we are the dead child we are the mother to believe the goodness in consciousness survives death helps , empathy needs to be balanced or we could not survive , we would feel for a plant when we eat it , respect all life.

search for goodness and string theory

What difference would it make since "you" will not be "you" in "your" next life, but someone else!
