Why did I lose weight so fast?

I began working out 50=60 minutes a day, 6 days a week and watching what I eat 2 weeks ago when I weighed about 180lbs/81kg. I stuck to my regime but I got on the scale today and it read 165lbs/75kg...how is this possible though? I can see a bit of a difference sure but how could I have lost so much weight so fast?? Could the scale be incorrect or something?

P.S. It s not a digital scale

Initial weight loss is mostly water weight and very little fat. It will slow down, so it's important that you understand that and not be disappointed when you have to work harder.
