Either that or they ignore the more recent trilogy....which, to be fair, a lot of the fandom wishes can do. Still, at best I know that one female acquaintance who was Lebanese opposed a gathering of mutual friends watching V for Vendetta during high school. Which, of course, heavily features Natalie Portman, and she used the Israel thing to complain about the choice. Though, honestly, I know of people who haven't seen Star Wars as well (as shocking as that might be) even before Natalie Portman's casting so I guess there are other issues besides BDS preventing people from seeing the films.

Others do so merely to satisfy an expectation others have placed on them, and they do not think whether or not it good, they just follow like sheep. But really if there is something of Israel which does not satisfy every heart, it's up to Israel to adjust itself to please them or accept not everyone loves them.
