Saltwater fish combo?

I want to get a fish tank with stunning fish. Nothing huge, but I want pretty fish with a difference in color. Does anyone know of a couple species that work well together, and are not too terribly territorial? Thanks in advance! I also want a Snowflake Eel, if it goes well with other fish. I want Reef Fish.

if you are inexperienced in aquariums in general i suggest you do NOT get a salt water tank. they are the hardest to keep and most expensive. i know i own a 55gal one it's my first salt water after being in Fresh for years and brackish for about 3 years.

i currently have a blue devil ( HIGHLY AGGRESSIVE DO NOT GET THESE, mine killed about 3 fish ), a golden sleeper head goby ( this one is fine unless a fish tries to go into it's home then it gets slightly aggressive but doesn't harm my other fish ), Green spotted puffer ( mine is not aggressive but they are known to be most can be kept well with other fish however these are brackish and typically sold in FW thus need to be acclimated into Salt water over time ), I had 2 bangaii cardinals they were very calm one died ( my tang nipped it to death ) and my other one is going to die ( tang again is nipping it to death ). i had to ocelaris clowns they did great together now only one is alive. one died a long time ago it got stuck in my wave maker i think or jumped out of something it just vanished one day and i found it a few months later in my stand all dried up.

lastly is my tang forgot what species it is but it is VERY aggressive far worse then the blue devil all my fish that have died in the recent months have been because of this one some people do fine with; excuse me NOT A TANG BUT a Trigger. i seen peoples triggers be pretty mellow but mine is very aggressive i want to literally get rid of it but salt water fish in my state are VERY expensive clowns alone cost about $40 a piece. ontop of that this is my moms trigger not mine. i actually have a tang it's a blue tang it is fine but gets aggressive during feeding only.

i had a royal gramma and with all the fish above besides the trigger and the blue devil i'd say they would have done great.

idk what goes great but clowns go well they are typically friendly ( must do research not all clown species go well and you must introduce them at the same time ), tangs are also friendly, my goby is friendly, the cardinals are friendly as well, the royal gramma was also really friendly and colorful. btw triggers and puffers are not reef fish they will destroy your corals and rocks if you have some. my trigger nips at my rocks all the time and breaks off small pieces of them.

    Define "huge"...

A snowflake eel needs a 60+ gallon. If you do not plan on getting 60 gallon tank or larger, forget the snowflake eel.

A good beginner fish and also active and bright would be chromis. The cheapest and most common are blue/green reef chromis. Lemon chromis are also fairly common. Sunshine chromis are very bright, but not as easy to find.
