why when reading the news articles on yahoo, it is not only littered with numerous ads but they are strategically positioned so you hit them?

Yahoo news is a disaster , for this and many , many other reasons . it now seems dependant for some of its content on the worst of the UK tabloids , the Daily Mail ..

If there was an Oscar for junk journalism , Yahoo News would be the odds-on favourite .

to get the advertising dollars or sterling or virtually :-O any other currency that yahoo can get to pay the employees? well. something is generated by people surely - though we can't always tell what, i know. the advertisers wouldn't place the ads if they weren't getting something out of them.

Advertising is money. I always looked for the cue before i click. Be careful what you click on. It sends you back to the home page and installs adware!
