Is the AR15 good enough for the military?

    The AR15 is a civilian rifle that closely resembles the M16 series of firearms used by the military. Some of those rifles are better quality than the military equivalent, and many of them are not up to par.

    When a new development for the platform comes out that the military believes is worth the cost, they ll invest in it. The M4 rifle used by the US Army has seen a few such upgrades and has another one in the near future.
