    We write y is inversely proportional to x .

    We remove the sign of proportionality by writing

    y = k * 1/x

    'k' is the constant of proportionality

    y = k/x

    In the given choices k = 12

    y = 12/x

    So answer 'B'.

    Answer (B). When x gets bigger y gets smaller. That's what's "inverse" about it.
