How do I fix my lawn mower tire? The tire is 25 percent not against the rim.?
The tire holds air and works great but it just looks a little funny and I'm worried it's going to go flat.
I just bought it from a farm store and it had 20 pounds of air and the max air is 10 so I let it out to 10 after I noticed the problem.

it's common prctice to over inflate tires when seating tires/beads.
deflate the tire. push on the tire and expose the bead. use a brush to apply soapy water solution. coat the bead. put air in it. till the bead pops into place. you can over fill it when doing this.
prolly talking about a rider mower tire. those can handle a fair amount of pressure to seat the bead. prolly up to 50-60 pounds or more iffin it's rated around 30-40 psi. you can also use a rubber mallot to shock the tire into seating on the bead.

FYI,
the max recommended tire pressure does not depict when the tire will blow. it's the recomended psi is for tire safety-care under operating conditions. they can handle a lot more psi on a temp bassis. such as seating tires to wheels.
or simply remove the wheel/tire and take it to any auto tire service center. they will know what to do. prolly cost $7.50 ffor deflate, dress, and another $7.50 to inflate and check. these won't need to be ballanced. it may not even need the bead to be dressed. it may simply need an extra charge of pressure to seat. they might not even charge you anything. but i'd tip 'em 5 or so anyway.

I would recommend putting a tube in the tire. Tubes are relatively inexpensive and even when the tire starts to dry rot, tires can still hold air for several years still. You also don't have to worry about the tire leaking around the rim.

Sounds like you need to put some more air in to seat the bead. Don't over inflate, and if that doesn't work, let the air out, push the bead down and start again. It should bead evenly around the wheel.
