What does the quran (or other islamic scripture) say about Fasting for pregnant women?

Update:

What does the quran (or other islamic scripture) say about fasting for pregnant women?

According to a study by Mazumder and Almond maternal Fasting during Ramadan has demonstrable detrimental effects. That's why I ask.

Update 2:

The biggest effect seems to be with fasting in the first two months of (the) pregnancy, I suppose that women aren't entirely sure if they ARE pregnant for a month or so?
