Why do women preach?
1 Timothy: 12 and 13
I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man;[a] she must be quiet. 13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve. 14 And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner. 15 But women[b] will be saved through childbearing—if they continue in faith, love and holiness with propriety.

Men and women are equal, part of the same body. In ancient times, there were greater gender role differences because of the nature of existence and survival at that time. Today's world is very different. If it were an Adam and Eve determined difference that set us apart, then men should not have female supervisors bosses or teachers at university. Males do accept female supervisors, managers, professors in college, without any difficulties so it is obvious there are no inherent differences between us and we are equal. This means morally equal as well. Women can be pastors and preachers.
Jesus died for our sins, so that sins could be forgiven. This includes the sin of Adam and Eve as well. The curse has been lifted, and that is why we are given access to eternal life, although Adam was cursed. Similarly, the curse of Eve is also lifted. The correct relationship has been re-established where men and women are equal.

The thing is, Paul was brought up in the Jewish faith, and in that faith, women are not expected to spend time studying -- anything!
And let's face it: Paul was a bigot!

Women are given the divine 'authority of silence' which modern people would call 'nonverbal communication' similar to the arts of 'spycraft.' She is the 'house guardian' (Titus 2:5, 'Greek: oikourgos,' literally, 'house watcher'). She does this using non-confrontational information gathering through every member of the house over which she has supreme authority in her other role 'oikodespoteo,' literally, 'unquestioned ruler of the household.'
Yes, you do see the root of the word, 'despot' within that Greek term.
This was the 'trade-off' for agreeing not to 'teach' in public. She is the ruler of the house, while the man is her 'redeemer' and 'head.' She calls him 'lord' or 'my head' even though she is actually in practical charge of the house, questioned only on matters of scriptural debate, then even able to appeal to other righteous men before yielding her position. Being the woman's 'redeemer' is meant to preserve her humility and represent a living allegory of what it means for Christ to be the 'Redeemer' for His Church. This means that the woman is the man's only responsibility, but the house and the people in it are her responsibility. She engages the community using the 'authority of silence,' gathers information, asks a million questions at home, dispatches children, foreigners, odd characters and all those who serve the house and tend to be ignored or blend into the background of any scenario, secretly instructing them to be seen and not heard while giving gifts after the pattern of almsgiving explained by Jesus (Matthew 6). Lydia is a good example from the book of Acts, among others. This helps her guard against any form of evil or corruption in her local area, joining forces like links in a chain with other households, but never centralizing power, only strengthening each local link as resources, good information and knowledge from God are shared in the interest of her domain.
All this said, the two most powerful positions mentioned in scripture are above 'teaching' in authority. Both of these would be what modern people would call 'gender neutral.' They would be 'nevi'im' or local 'prophets,' (Acts 21:9) and 'apostles,' (with a small 'a', not the Twelve who preside spiritually in the same role over both the Jewish and Gentile Church), the local orchestrators of prophets, teachers, healers, operators, administrators and diakonia, ('deacons'). These are mentioned by the Holy Spirit as both male and female, both genders mentioned even in one verse Romans 16:7.
God is perfectly impartial, perfectly equitable, perfectly righteous and infinitely thoughtful in how He commands us to love each other exactly as we love ourselves. These roles form naturally and instinctively even if we had never heard of them and had no model to follow. This is because Christ's Torah of equal love writes itself into our lives as anyone of any gender, age or background actually obeys, instead of trying to cheat the Path and themselves by 'helping' God treat people fairly.

2Pet 3:15 Regard the patience of our Lord as salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also, according to the wisdom given to him, wrote to you; 3:16 as also in all of his letters, speaking in them of these things. In those, there are some things that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unsettled twist, as they also do to the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.
Ignorance and twisting.
