What are some ways to ease up period cramps?
I get bad cramps and sometimes the ibuprofen helps and sometimes it doesn't. I'm busy and do a lot of theatre with mandatory rehearsals. What should I do to help them?

Take regular pain relief throughout your period (ibuprofen and paracetamol)- try to start taking it a day or two before your period starts, so it builds up in your system.
Hot Baths
Hot Water Bottles
Stick on Heat Packs:- http://www.boots.com/en/Cura-Heat-Period-Pain_2430...
Drink Hot Drinks (Chamomile Tea in seemingly good for easing cramps)
Exercise (some people find it helps)
Heres another pain killer you could try: http://www.boots.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Cat...

Warmth and ibuprofen. Drink warm tea, put a heating pad or even a warm moist towel on your abdomen, and take ibuprofen as directed on the bottle. You could eat bananas, I've heard that can help with cramps. If the ibuprofen doesn't help at first, you may need to take more, but still stay within the amount allowed in a 24 hour period. If ibuprofen doesn't help, I've heard that muscle relaxers can do wonders. But definitely heat will help.
