Why does my Fundamental christian mother say beer and chocolate are wrong together? It's so great it has to be a sin...?

PHEW ! ! ! The taste is really pretty bad.

Add to this the fact that, by itself, either of those things is very neat, so if you ruin them both by combining them together, then you will eventually learn not to do that.

It is of course a personal thing. If for some reason you like the flavor of the two of them together, then bully for you. Do what you want to do, obviously.

It's not about sin; it's about those two things do not go together, like blueberries wouldn't go with chili.

I know of and have tried and liked the combination of peanut butter with chocolate, and chocolate with coffee.. and the combination of tutti frutti with sweet wine.. and the combination of grape jelly with meatballs.

But chocolate with beer? I think that would first take many bottles of beer consumed in order to not only drink the combination, but enjoy it.

Cleaning up the mess is probably what your mother is most concerned about.

She doesn't have to know. .try a chocolate flavored stout. They are delicious.

Sounds like a wonderful combination to me.

It isn't wise, to be lead astray by drink.
