Why is Yahoo allowing so much SEXUAL posts in answers??

I agree.

The only reason they don't take immediate action is because there are hundreds of such posts more than perhaps they are staffed. They are not aware of them all/can't get to them all at once, and they rely on us to point it out, but imagine having to go through millions of complaints to get to that one. This slows them down quiet a lot, I believe.

I don't understand why there are no filters applied before allowing members to post. The whole freedom of speech guideline, if there maybe any, doesn't work, then I suggest to re-evaluate the guideline to make it possible for Yahoo to filter things! Recently there was a post of a man exposing his genitals, I flagged him and put a comment asking others to do the same so that Yahoo can see. it took them 2/3 days to finally remove it, until then, the image was constantly in my way, right at the top, whenever I went to the stream of questions on the main page. Imagine how many young people might have been exposed to that. It's a shopping centre for paedophiles - imagine if this man has/had received/made communication from/with a child in some way due to this post. Makes me sick to the stomach. I am an adult, I was shaken by it...disgusting!

On one of my very old asks, which was about three years ago, someone keeps posting a link to some porn site. My question was about whether there was going to be a movie for something that I liked at the time, I don't care for it very much now. However I know that there are still many more who do and may stumble upon my question, and I don't want them getting false hope from that person who claims there is a movie for it with a link to it that actually takes them to a porn site. This person's name is Louella now. I believe they had a different name on their first attempt. I reported them that time of course but now they are back at it. And they are doing on the same question too! And of course I reported them again. I think it's because younger people (as well as older people) like the same thing I did, I know I was 14 at the time when I started liking it. I think they are trying to target younger people. I agree 100% with you. It never seemed like a problem until recently it seems. Or I didn't notice it until recently. But this is a problem that needs to be fixed! (It's vocaloid that I was interested in, in case you were wondering, I didn't want to make a big deal about what it was exactly.)

I'm with you on this. The community has gotten so sick and disturbed that I can hardly stand to come on here any longer. I post a normal question, I get hateful responses of people insulting me and acting as if I'm in the wrong for asking a simple question, yet I find a question where a young guy asking if it's alright to receive oral sex from his own older sister and people are telling him to go for it and that it isn't incest. WHAT?! I'm sick of this community. It needs to be cleaned up and fast. It's sick and disturbing how intricate these sex posts get, too! I never thought I'd be reading on this site about how a boy had sexually assaulted his own cousin while they were playing together! It's disturbing and I almost feel dirty and awful for being a member!

No, you aren't talking to Yahoo. Yahoo almost never reads posts here, and as others have said, it is community moderation. Hopefully CM will be fixed tomorrow, since today in a holiday.

Yes.YAHOO ANSWERES is supposed to be a any age group question & answere venue. The internet has adult dating sites that do allow this full nudity photos to go with a profile add. Any obscene picture submitted here in questions & answeres though, ought to be deleted instant to its submit for posting here at YAHOO ANSWERES. Come on Yahoo. Clean it up.

I must be answering from a completely opposite set of categories as I haven't seen sexual posts. The closest I've seen is the teen-pregnancy things that are mis-classified. They are easy to ignore.

Blame America

People have mixed views on what's right and wrong. Some people are more hardened towards things about sexuality, but are super sensitive to anything violent or judgemental. Some can actually tolerate things about violence and judgement, but wince at things about perversity. So it's not fair or right but that's how it happened. Also consider all of the people who would establish any kind of moderation form would be of a feather. I see mean things about Christians all the time, but certain people might try to take down a comment criticising Israel-even if somebody else says something about Israel much worse than what you put.

I know! Its sick and awful. Especially if little children see it. I just reported one post of a naked man. Its sick. How could you do that? Can Yahoo please remove all these sexual images/posts? Its disturbing and so incredibly sick. This is exactly why I don't let my kids go on the internet.
