Look, about the tattoo, make it a tattoo that has your life story, what you've been through things that mean to you, things you wont regret. because you'll be asked by ALOT of people about what it means. The pain is nothing trust me, if you're a BIT tough that it, you should talk, keep your focus on something else, and just in case you get scared alot, drink ONE shot of tequila, it'll help numb you senses, it will take 3 sessions, if the artist is really good, and if you're willing to pay a good amount of money and your near L.A,contact High Voltage Ink, they're the best.. its a good idea for a first tattoo!

Its impossible to say. most tattoos are priced by the hour. This could take one hour or 4, it really depends on how much detail and color blending there is. If you have an idea or photo of what you want for a tattoo, take it to a few local places and ask them how much they charge per hour and how much they would estimate this tattoo would cost.

Usually nothing. A tattoo is a permanent ink drawing on skin. It shouldn't run and should stay in place. Think of it like being glued to your skin. Plus it's inanimate, it can't move!
