We have no information on this matter. The pictures were done many centuries later by people who have no information about how Jesus looked like. The look of Jesus is not important. His teaching is. Read his teaching recorded only in 4 books of the Bible - Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

Now that you mention it, I never noticed that. I wonder if any churches in Eastern Europe claim to have holy armpit hairs along with their planks from the true cross.

Notice also how Jesus is often a caucasan with blue eyes. Looks more Irish than Hebrew.
