Can you still ovulate even if you get negative test strips all month?

I used the test strips last month and received a positive strip three days in a row. This month I haven't received a positive at all. I'm 12 days from my next period now. Last month I was positive 15 days from my next period. We are trying to conceive. We are continuing to have sex every other day in the event I did ovulate. Thanks for any advice!

Sometimes the LH surge can last for less than 24 hours, so if you test once a day it's possible to miss it.

Are you testing twice a day? Your LH surge can be short, and if you're only testing once every 24 hours you might have just missed it. Try testing twice a day about 12 hours apart.

If you tested properly, then you could have not ovulated. If your period was not very normal this last time, you might be pregnant. Or you could have just not ovulated. It happens.
