Derrick Hatton re-joining the Labour Party. Hasn't he done enough damage to Liverpool?

Update:

It would appear that the local party have accepted him (he is a pal of Joe Anderton) and the National Party have aid it needs to go before the full executive. I did hear that he has tried to join th eTories at one point and they would not have him

They would be mad to accept him, but saying that the Labour Party will accept anyone as Miliband proved.

I thought the Labour Party had refused Derek Hatton's application.

Odd, it's perfectly ok for the Conservatives to have convicted criminals in their party, like Jeffrey Archer, lady Porter, and other MPs, so why is it wrong ( BTW this was debunked yesterday) for someone to join the Labour Party??

My thought is why would he want to. The Labour party as is is far too right wing for him.

Not as much damage as the government in Westminster. Like most local politicians regardless of party, he is a bit of a clown
