I prefer the Norse gods, but the Roman gods have been used less. You could also go into the Greek and Roman gods being the same beings, just called by different names by different worshipers.

You only capitalize "God" when you are referring to the one-and-only Supreme Being.
Personally, I would be more interested in the Roman gods.
Next, in no particular order: Hindu, Greek & Egyptian gods & goddesses.
I have the least interest in Norse gods. (too many comic-book characters for my taste)

Open Amazon.com and in the search section type in first one and then the other and see what kind of activity there already is on either of these topics.
