possible strange answers 2x-8y=6 x-4y=8?

    Take note that 2x-8y=6 is the same equation as x-4y=3. Thus these lines are parallel. There are no solutions for these lines and depending on what you're doing you could very well get strange answers, e.g. 1=0 by taking one line from another

    2x - 8y = 6

    and

    2x - 8y = 16

    No can do !!!!!

    The equations are two parallel lines. No intersection, so no solution.
