Teaching kitten to retract claws and stop biting?
My 8 and half week old kitten doesnt really retract her claws properly. She loves jumping up on our legs but always ends up scratching us because her claws are out. Is there a way to teach her not to do this. Also she sometimes nibbles on out fingers and just before i can tell her no she'll start licking them. Should i still tell her off. If so how?

This is why kittens should not leave home until 10-12 weeks. That period in between weaning and this age is when the kittens learn - from each other - how to play nicely. All you can do at this point is to keep her claws trimmed. As she gets bigger she will be better able to jump up without claws. Don't tell her off - this is just being a kitten. She won't understand the point. You can however ignore her when she nibbles - put her down and ignore her. Her littermates would do something similar, and this is communicating your point to her in a way that she will understand.
