Do atheists not belive in sharks?

Is this what keeps atheists away from church bcuz they don't want 2 step into the church to be eviscerated, disemboweled, and disembodied by my imaginary friend's bad potatoe salad

Even if I couldn't see the shark, I've seen sharks in person, I know what kind of environments they live in, I can detect them with sonar and underwater monitoring equipment, I can see and measure the impact they have on the environment around them.

A more apt analogy would be a theist insisting that the Loch Ness monster will eat you if you go swimming in a lake.

Flaw in your logic is: Atheists do not believe that something doesn't exist simply because they can't see it. Atheists look at what we know and agree with the most likely conclusion based on the given information. All atheists believe sharks exist because there is evidence to show that sharks do 100% factually exist.

I do find it funny that you compared your god to a shark, saying that god is essentially a bloodthirsty killer that will destroy you if you do not believe in him.

I also believe in bacteria, air, gravity..... I do not believe in fairies, big foot, or your god. Just because you can't see something with your eyes doesn't mean it doesn't exist. That isn't why we don't believe. Think again. Harder. But be careful not to overheat your neurons.
