Naval piercing nd smoking? Correlation between the two?
I'm going to get my belly button pierced tomorrow and I was wondering if smoking will increase the probability of an infection occurring. Or should I wait about a month? Or until fully healed? I heard having a lip or tongue piercing, it's obviously not a good idea but I'm confused on the belly button

I was still a smoker back when I got all of my piercings and I didn't put it down for any of them - including my tongue or my 3 lip piercings. I was just very careful to clean them after each smoke.
