How Can I Avoid Sugar ?
I have now reached the point where it seems like every food item I purchase either at the supermarket or at restaurants is making me feel nauseous - and I am convinced it's all the sugar.
Everything tastes sweet, even bread, it's like a poison that food companies seem to be adding to everything to make it taste better, except it doesn't. I can no longer buy pasta sauce, it all tastes so ridiculously sweet, it's like eating the dessert course not the entree.
I know that the easy option is to prepare your own food and not buy processed food, but bread ? you think I have the time to bake my own sugar free bread ?
I'm looking for the best store to buy sugar free or "sugar normal" foods at - whether it be Sprouts or Farmers Market or Trader Joes, which one would offer me the healthiest range of prepared food items specifically in terms of avoiding that evil poison we call sugar.

Trader Joe's is really good at low- and no-sugar food items. Try their Protein Bread.

To an extent, I agree with you. There is sugar in everything nowadays and ridiculous amounts of it to boot.
But completely sugar free foods are as horrible for you as the foods with real sugar. It's nothing but filler chemicals that trick your brain, and in the long run, make you crave it more and more.
You cannot go 100% sugar free. There is natural occurring sugars in fruits, vegetables, and starches, but the difference there is that they have the necessary fibers that are needed to break down the glucose in your system. A whole banana will be digested without an issue and the sugars in that will go where they need to go and be expelled correctly, whereas a candy bar will just sit in your stomach and bloodstream until your body kicks it out.
Also, most bread needs some kind of sugar for the yeast to feed on. That's what makes bread BREAD, but baking your own isn't difficult at all.
Read labels and take notes. Eat foods that have naturally occurring sugars instead of ADDED sugars. Remember that some dairy will also have naturally occurring sugars, as well.

Stop buying food that is processed. that will eliminate any added sugar.
FYI food making you nauseous is also a symptom of gastritis and has nothing to do with sugar.
Maybe you should be seeing your doctor?
