  • Why is Yahoo Stopping Questions and Comments ?

I used to get a good chuckle from the Yahoo comments which mercilessly shredded the frequently sub-standard and invariably biased reporting.  Now Yahoo is shutting down questions as well, geez I wonder why - the real world is just a little too conservative for them I suspect.  What do you guys think ?

  • What do UK residents really think about the Muslim refugees ?

Do the majority of people want tens of thousands of them to be welcomed with open arms, or is the general concensus that they should be kept out of the country ?

  • Why do Air Force jets and Navy jets have different fueling receptacles ?

Interoperability in times of war seems like a pretty important thing if you need to rotate Navy birds through USAF bases.

So why is the ground fueling receptacle (note - NOT the air to air refueling probe) on Navy jets different than the one the Air Force uses, that just seems stupid ?

  • Do you think that the UK will ever learn its lesson about immigrants ?

We have seen the recent revelations about the widespread practice of Muslim men creating pedophile sex rings using young British girls (non-Muslims) and the videos on sites like Live Leak of Muslim controlled areas inside UK towns and cities. Not to mention the London bombings of course and the recent beheading of the young British soldier in the street.

So with the impending arrival of countless thousands of Muslim refugees from North Africa and beyond, do you think there will ever be a point at which the British finally realise the damage they have caused to their society or do you think that they are completely subjugated at this point through fear of being called racists and bigots, the standard tactic of leftists determined to prevent any discussion of the subject ?

  • I have an amazing photo to sell?

I have one of those "you won't believe this" photos to sell, pretty mind-blowing actually and I would be interested in selling it to a news outlet.

Anyone have any advice on the best way to go about doing that ?

  • How Can I Avoid Sugar ?

I have now reached the point where it seems like every food item I purchase either at the supermarket or at restaurants is making me feel nauseous - and I am convinced it's all the sugar.

Everything tastes sweet, even bread, it's like a poison that food companies seem to be adding to everything to make it taste better, except it doesn't. I can no longer buy pasta sauce, it all tastes so ridiculously sweet, it's like eating the dessert course not the entree.

I know that the easy option is to prepare your own food and not buy processed food, but bread ? you think I have the time to bake my own sugar free bread ?

I'm looking for the best store to buy sugar free or "sugar normal" foods at - whether it be Sprouts or Farmers Market or Trader Joes, which one would offer me the healthiest range of prepared food items specifically in terms of avoiding that evil poison we call sugar.

  • Hogging the left lane ?

I see a lot of drivers, and I have to be honest when I say that the majority are women, who will happily sit in the left (fast) lane on 2 or 3 lane highways and remain perfectly level with the car in the lane beside them, or even drive slower than that vehicle forcing other drivers to pull into the "slow" lane and undertake them.

Exactly what are the rules of the road in this situation, I learned to drive in Europe and you will receive a ticket there if you block a fast lane in this way - but is it just accepted here ?

If it makes any difference I'm in Arizona.

  • Neighbor Throwing Cuttings Into My Yard?

For some reason best known to himself my neighbor has started acting strangely with me - the latest behavior is that he is trimming branches off any tree or bush that overhangs his property and then throwing them into my yard. The problem is that some of the cuttings have gone into my A/C unit which was running at the time and is now making grinding noises.

His odd behavior aside, I have heard that it is the "legal" thing to do to throw branches back over the fence but this sounds like something bound to cause trouble - anyone know if this is appropriate and legal behavior. Oh, I live in Phoenix, Az.

  • Name that 80s Crime Show?

Good looking guy who lived in the backwoods and knew everything about animals and plants.

He came to the city and used his skills to solve murders and other serious crimes.

Opening credits showed him kayaking down river rapids and I think the show's title was his last name - something like Brannigan maybe.

    Anyone remember it ?

  • Local Anesthesia - Xanax or Valium ?

I have to have a cytoscopy (camera slid up my pee pee) to check for polyps and I'm already losing sleep and having mild panic attacks and the procedure is still 4 weeks away.

I'm trying to self medicate as the cytoscopy clinic won't give me anything other than some "numbing gel", no pain killers no opioids, nothing.

So I have access to Valium and Xanax and I'm trying to find out which one will give me the best outcome from a sedation/pain killing point of view - and what dosage is appropriate for an adult male.

    Help please !!

  • Why is Ebola not spreading to central Africa ?

Mauritania, Mali, Ghana, and the Ivory Coast are just a few of the nations immediately bordering the Ebola hot zones - and yet they have not had one single case of Ebola.

How can that be, the primary disease vector (humans) are highly mobile and typically flee disease ridden areas. So why is the infection not spreading across Africa ?

  • How is Plutonium formed into a sphere ?

When raw Plutonium billets have been produced in a reactor how exactly are they "melted" and then re-formed into hemispheres for use in a nuclear weapon.

Is a chemical used, or is heat applied ?

  • Is Kelly Osborne ugly, very ugly, or revoltingly ugly?

Seems to me that we are being encouraged by the media to think that this talentless brat is in some way attractive, even my dog looks away when she appears on tv - that face, it's like a bag of hammers.

Is the media trying to brainwash us into thinking that she is anything other than a mutt. Your thoughts?

  • Need Help Fast - How to Dump Someone?

I had a date with a woman last weekend, she was attractive, blonde, and classy, we had a nice meal together and the conversation flowed - but the date left me feeling drained and I couldn't wait to get away. Basically I was the perfect gentleman, but I was relieved when it was over. I didn't contact her again hoping that she would get the message, but she just texted me again (after waiting 5 days for me to text her which I didn't) saying what a great time she had. I don't just want to ignore her - so if someone can format the exact text of my reply I would be eternally grateful to you.

  • Can my wife come back for more money post divorce?

My ex-wife and I agreed on our divorce settlement, and we were both very happy with it. The financial agreement was signed by both of us without dispute and entered into the official court records when the divorce was finalized - it was a no-fault divorce if that makes any difference, we just went our separate ways quite amicably, we also have no children. Now my ex-wife has contacted me again indicating that she has already burned through her share and is broke, she also lost her job and is already asking me to help pay some of her bills. I helped her out as much as I could but finally had to say "sorry, but no more" and she has broken off contact again, she could never control her spending. I am concerned that she will somehow find a way to come back and take the remainder of my savings off me, so my question is - can someone come back for more money even after a financial agreement has been agreed, signed, and lodged with the courts?

  • 2004 Dodge Stratus 2.7L V6 timing belt - what mileage for replacement?

My 2004 V6 Stratus has 79,000 miles on it and has been a great car. I have started to wonder about the need to replace the timing chain, but want to check what Dodge's recommended mileage is - I have heard that the car has a chain and not a belt, and that because these last longer, the recommended replacement mileage is 100,000. Anyone??

  • Type 45 Destroyers - Is PAAMS working yet?

The Type 45s are awfully big and expensive ships to be built around just one major weapon system (PAAMS/Sea Viper) - but for the longest time even that one system was non-functional on at least the first ships in the class.

So where is the weapon system as of right now - is it fully operational?

  • Would you date a pregnant girl?

I met an amazing girl 3 weeks ago. She is stunning, intelligent, single, and we have great chemistry. From the title of this you will know the catch already, she is 19 weeks pregnant and determined to have the baby. She met up with an old boyfriend in October of last year and they had a one night stand, birth control failed and she became pregnant. There is no way you can make the call for me, there are too many variables involved, but I would be interested to hear the opinions of others as to how you would react in a similar situation - oh, she is 24 years old.

  • I'm 47 and my wife just left me - what do I do ?

So I'm 47 and suddenly single, I'm not an attractive guy but I am clean cut and work in a professional career with a good job, home, and money in the bank. I signed up for one of the major dating websites and talk about being a flop, I can't even get a girl to talk to me, let alone go on a date with me. I hate being on my own and just want someone I can spoil, but there are no takers. Today is Friday, and I look forward to going out for a really nice dinner at the end of the work week, but I have no one to go with, so it's day old pizza and reruns of Gunsmoke for dinner. I feel despondent, my wife doesn't want me and no one else does either. My friends are all married, and have family responsibilities, so no joy there. I just don't know what to do, I've never been on my own before and it's killing me.
