Why are public bathrooms so disgusting?

It seems like everytime you go into a public bathroom, as a rule at least one stall has to be filled with crap and toilet paper. There's crap on the toilet seat and floor, urine floods half the room, and it's like I can smell the STDs of people who've been there. Sometimes I have to wait until I get home to use the bathroom because I'd rather not take my chances in a public bathroom. Even at school there's at least one out of order bathroom because some jack@$$ decided to flood the urinal.

Because people (the users) think it's "funny" (har har) to do things like piss on the walls and smear poop everywhere. And no one wants to (would you?) clean it up. This goes for men and women, John M.

That being said, there are places (both single locations and areas in general) where public toilets are incredibly clean, especially if there are attendants to make sure none of the above goes on, but also in places that have effective litter campaigns ("don't mess with Texas" comes to mind - rest areas in Texas are VERY clean).

Nobody cares to clean . Guys just pee all over the place.

    I can't speak for girls .

90% of guys never wash their hands.

Seriously would you like the job of cleaning them ? ....no me either and therein lies the problem getting someone to do this rather dirty & grotty job .....

NB its also dangerous due to Hep C and other bacterial and infectious problems
