So i live In Holyoke Massachusetts and I absolutely hate it here. The folks are outright rude they love to start with people?

I feel for you. I used to live in a city like that. I once had someone race me to the check-out at the grocery store and then turned around and laughed at me. And forget about anyone leaving you out in traffic.

Always remember that no matter how others act, you are only responsible for yourself. Treat hate with kindness. Don't return evil for evil.

I understand how you must feel. Maybe limit your interaction with society as much as possible, except for church, you should find some loving people there. Also, distance yourself from anyone that is interested in conflict, gossip or drama. You don't need it. Maya Angelou said that words are like weapons

Manners and caring for others is taught to us by our parents. If people don't have good parents that teach them values you get a rude community. Hateful parents usually raise hateful children.

My parents raised us to treat others as we would like to be treated. Set the example. Take the high road and maybe your considerate manners will influence others.
