I never attend my out-of-state class reunions but this past summer the committee sent the reunion invitation with an update letter to return, which I did. Now I am being bombarded with phone calls and emails from people I didn't even like back then let alone want to keep in touch with now. I can't even remember them.

What to do? Ignore or reply and be honest? I don't have the time or interest to keep up with these people.

Also, why do so many people want to stay in touch?! Don't they have lives?

There is plenty of work to do and lots of social events to attend but it just seems like too much trouble. I have to force myself just to get the basics done, like grocery shopping and medical appointments.

Anyone else dealing with this?

I keep busy all week but when Saturday night rolls around I feel like I'm just waiting for the PBS shows and then I'm off to bed.

There really isn't anything I want to do and if I did, I don't have the energy.

Any advice or could you share your experience?

I'm always trying to pack and leave a hotel room or apartment and get to the airport. It's always close to check-out time and I don't feel like I'm going to make my flight.

There are too many things to get into the suitcases and I don't seem to know that it was the last day of vacation.

The places vary but this theme is always the same. There are others around but no one seems to be helping me.

I was tired. That's my only excuse.

Is anyone else utterly appalled at the ease that these people ransack and steal cars? The language is shocking enough. They look like animals stalking their prey in the wild. I can't find words to express how offensive I find this behavior in a "civilized" society.

This has always puzzled me. How were early Biblical stories recorded after the earth had been destroyed in the flood? Did Noah and his family retain the world's history and then did they record it for us?

I imagine it would have to have been a divine task guided by God.

Any historical or religious significance? I love older architecture and I notice that many churches have their doors painted fire engine red.

Every store I shop in, including my drug store and grocery store are all playing canned musak. It is so loud and so annoying. Can't we shop it peace?

Remember when people complained about elevator music? It's much worse now and no one is saying anything.

It's 7 years old and only gets leaves. I planted it for the birds so I'm disappointed in it.

I'm new to this Q & A board but it seems to me we need a break-out by age group, especially in the family and dating catagories.

Preteens (13 and under) have vastly different questions than 14 - 17 year olds.

The 20's to 30's group wouldn't likely be interested in the problems of 55 plus folks.

And could we have a catagory only for those people who insist on broadcasting intimate personal questions that wouldn't be fit for printing in a newspaper, since Yahoo seems unable to filter most of them?

Just my thoughts, but I'd love to hear yours. It's a good board but drowning in junk.
