what is the normal atmospheric pressure? (measured in atm)?
i'm doing my physics work and i have this question " what volume of air, initially at normal atmospheric pressure, is required to fill a football of a capacity 6L to a pressure of 2.5atm? ", i was just wondering what the normal atmospheric pressure in atm would be for this question.

Normal atmospheric pressure is 1 atmosphere.
For your problem, you can use (pV)_a = (pV)_b
and I think you should get 15 L.

The air at the sea level is supposed to be at the normal temperature and pressure. This is used as the standard. Temperature is 300 degree Kelvin.
